The Benefits of Digital Orthodontics
• Greater Precision
• Lower Cost
• Reduced Treatment Time
How Does it Work?
1. Digital Scanning: A 3D model of your teeth is created using digital scanning technology.
2. Treatment Planning: Using 3D virtual simulations, your optimal treatment plan is determined and you will see what your teeth will look like.
3. Designed Just for You: Customized wires or aligners are formed that will gently move your teeth into position.
With So Many Types of Braces, Which is Best for You?
Few people are lucky enough to be born with perfect teeth, but orthodontic treatment can make a huge difference to you or your child. Pure Dental will help you make the best choice for your scenario, but here are the basics of each type:
Invisalign is a type of clear aligner that you can use instead of metal or Damon braces. This involves a range of clear plastic aligners that resemble mouth guards, which are custom-made for you. They are removable for eating and cleaning, and you change them out for a newly made aligner every two weeks. Each new aligner takes the adjustment of your teeth one step further.
Clear aligners are also recommended for ongoing use after you complete your orthodontic treatment. These appliances help to maintain the results you want until your teeth have settled down and finished moving.
Six Month Smiles The Six Month Smiles technique employs the latest technology and techniques in dentistry to move your teeth quickly and safely with clear adult braces. The key components of the treatment are the use of unique, clear braces and a primary focus of moving the teeth that show when you smile.
Traditional Metal Braces are made of the stainless steel brackets and wires that inspired the term “metal mouth” years ago. Fortunately today’s metal braces are noticeably smaller. And new heat-activated arch wires move your teeth more quickly and less painfully as they respond to your body’s heat.
Ceramic Braces mock metal braces in shape and size but they use tooth-colored or clear ceramic brackets that blend more naturally into your teeth. Some even use tooth-colored wires to keep your treatment even lower profile.
Lingual Braces use the same metal brackets and wires used in traditional braces, but the brackets and wires are installed on the inside of your teeth to keep them hidden.
